Brighton's Enciso won't participate in Olympics with Paraguay

Brighton forward Julio Enciso will not participate in the Olympic football tournament for Paraguay. Paraguay squad members at Copa America will also not be involved in the Olympics competition in Paris. Enciso’s Brighton teammates Valentin Barco and Facundo Buonanotte have a potential chance of being selected by Argentina. Barco helped Argentina qualify for the Olympics tournament before joining Brighton from Boca Juniors. The Olympics football tournament will take place from July 24 to August 10. Brighton’s first Premier League fixture of the 2024-25 season under new head coach Fabian Hurzeler is scheduled against Everton on August 17.
